WORKSHOP

Redesigned based on student feedbacks from our previous sessions! Added a whole lot more content and expanded the list of real-world cases to better prepare our students for real challenges. All taught by our lead photography and videographers who have over 200 wedding on their belts.

Enjoy a 6-hour student-centered learning experience on topics of your choice:

Advanced Lighting

We are known for our perfect lighting. Learn about full body, medium, close-up lighting, 1-2-3 lights setup, gear review and recommendation, studio strobes, wireless triggers, modifiers, speedlit lighting techniques, location lighting (in-house, church, limo, group shots, reception hall lighting as well as sunset photos).

Location

Location reviews, location scouting, permits, milky way photography.

Classic shots at different stages of a wedding - in-house or hotel getting ready session, first looks, ceremony, group formals, cocktails and reception decoration details, reception, party, and late-night shots.

Filmmaking (this course is still under development)

Cinema cameras, lighting, camera movement, storyline and structure, editing, gimbal, classic shots.

Sound

Microphone selection, microphone concealing and placement techniques, sound recording techniques, post-processing, sound design.

Aerial Imaging

Learn how to fly a drone, safety, regulations, classic drone shots.

Working with markup artist and hair stylist

Learn about common issues of hair and makeup and how to deal with them.

Detail photography

Rings,flower, jewellery, shoes and classic shots.

Hands-on Equipment Test

Get a peek into our camera selection, test lenses, video and sound gear. Learn to build toolbox for different shooting assignments for problem solving and efficiency.

Post-processing

Lightroom and advanced Photoshop techniques, contouring, advanced frequency separation and skin retouching.

Colour Processing and Black/White conversion

Dealing with common colour issues in wedding pictures. 

 

 

Only 5 seats available per session.

$1999 per person (lunch included, tax extra)

We use Canon gears for photography, so it's a huge plus is you use Canon too so you can use some of our lenses and lights.

We use SONY for videography, it’s ok if you use other brands likes Canon, Panasonic or Blackmagic.

We also have mentors who uses Nikon gears.

We offer paid mentorship opportunity to selected students.

Mentorship Program

We offer paid mentorship program.

Eligibility:

  • Have shot at least 5 weddings as either the main shooter or second shooter. Assistant experience does not count, sorry.

  • At least one full-frame digital camera body - Canon preferred, Nikon and Sony also accepted.

  • At least two professional zoom or prime lens - Canon L Series only or equivalents of Nikon or Sony.

  • At least one speedlite, Canon, Nikon or Sony preferred, Nissin Accepted, Sorry no other brands of flash.

  • Unique style and understanding of the wedding photography business.

  • Your expectations of being a second shooter on our weddings.

  • Pay depends on level of experience.

  • Please include a link to your online portfolio when applying.
